Farah Khan's reaction
It is shocking that there is not a single Indian working at that US airport and that they don't know Shah Rukh Khan who is one of the biggest stars of the world.
My question to her: wtf should they employ one Indian at the US airport? If thats the case, they should have one person from each nationality working at every single airport. Just because he is a superstar doesnt mean he cannot be questioned/frisked.
Priyanka Chopra' reaction
SRK is a world figure for God's sake. Get real!!
Ms. Chopra I think you need to get real. You might demand he should be given citizenship without any application also. wtf cares?
Ambica Soni (Information and Broadcasting Minister)
"I don't think that this manner of detaining the name of religion is justified. But in the United States of America several examples have surfaced where frisking takes place more than required, according to us"
Its the rule of their land. They want to frisk, they can frisk. Just because we dont frisk everyone, they should follow us.
Senator Kennedy was not allowed to travel in Aug 2004, just because his name appeared on a watchlist. Check the archive here:
http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/20/national/20flight.htmlWhen a senator in his own country was subjected to something like this, wtf are you Mr. Khan?
When an ordinary person traveling to US can face this kind of situation, wtf we expect double standards for filmstar? Its exactly this kind of bureaucratic mentality that we need to remove from our minds. Just because he has made money and is a public figure, we shouldnt create different rules.
